York, UK. 21st Dec, 2016. Steam locomotive Duchess of Sutherland built 1938 by the London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) takes a special train to York. The last regular use of steam locomotive in the UK was in 1968 . The train was diesel hauled from Cambridge to Peterborough where the steam locomotive took over.
