He saw active ser-vice in France and Belgium for five months,then was severely wounded while fixing wireentanglements, and died the next day, 30 May1916, in a Casualty Clearing Station at Commanding Officer wrote of Robertson :He was one of the best in the Com-pany, and was marked out for speedy promotion,and his loss is greatly felt by us all.
