The grinder at Vega Baja has been working to grind degraded hardwoods, generated by Hurricane Maria, August 26,2018. Working with FEMA and the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, hardwoods that have degraded will be chipped, while quality hardwoods will be stockpiled at a DNER furnished location for final disposal.
