BALTIC SEA (June 6, 2017) Assault amphibious vehicles assigned to the Marine 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Convoy, depart the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) during a beach landing in Ventspils, Latvia, as part of exercise BALTOPS 2017. BALTOPS is an annual Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO- executed, multinational maritime exercise in the Baltic Sea region designed to enhance flexibility and interoperability among its participants.
