160615-N-MY174-131 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 15, 2016) - Visiting media observe flight operations from vulture's row aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) during Malabar 2016. Twenty-one members of international media came aboard to learn about carrier operations. A trilateral maritime exercise, Malabar is designed to enhance dynamic cooperation between the Indian Navy, Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and Navy forces in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
