On the surface of gelatine a thick greyish-white film develops, which in time becomes wrinkled. In the depth of gelatine a white filament forms. The gelatine is not liquefied. On agar the film is slightly yellowish. On potato it is similar in colour, moist and shining. On blood serum it is very similar, Mice fed.
