Type species: Nothancyla verreauxi Navas, by monotypy Distribution. Southern and western Australia, Tasmania. The single known species has a well-defined Bassian distribution. Diagnosis. Adult. Large lacewings, fore wing (Fig. 70) 6 13-15 mm, 9 17-20 mm; ground colour pale yellowish green. Head unmarked or with red stripe on front of vertex; palps tapered apically; labrum slightly indented; mandibles broad, symmetrical with large basal tooth on each mandible; vertex slightly raised; head width : eye width = : 1; antenna shorter than fore wing; flagellar segments 3 times as long as broad;.
