It also produces articles of olive tree wood and livestock products, since it has two cheese factories. Mandamados has about 1400 inhabitants and is located north-west of village is also famous for the monastery of Taxiashes, an icon of Archangel Michael is found in this monastery of the 17th century, which according to the tradition, is made of mud and blood of monks slaughtered during the Turkish raid
