Forelock is the term applied to the continuation of the mane, which extends between the ears and hangs over the forehead. Forging.—The act of forging consists of the horse hitting the inner edee of the fore-shoe with his hind toe. Forks should never be kept in the stable, and wherever they are placed when out of use the prongs should always be on the ground.
