This image may not be used to state or imply endorsement by CERN of any product, activity or service Helene Langevin-Joliot lecture at CERN, the European particle physics laboratory, in 2017. French nuclear physicist Helene Langevin-Joliot (born 1927) is a professor of nuclear physics at the University of Paris. She comes from a family of renowned scientists, including her grandmother Marie Curie. Langevin-Joliot was visiting CERN to give a talk on Marie Curie and her family history. The talk was titled 'Marie Curie, les femmes et la science, d'hier a aujour'd hui' (Marie Curie, women and science, from yesterday to today).
