A bronze casserole, Roman, 1st/2nd century Curved sides with a short rim and a narrow engraved frieze running around the outside. Handle on the side with a circular end, hole in the centre and the maker's mark "TALIOR". The owner's inscription "TLVC(?) VICTOR" on the underside. The base has deep circular grooves. Cleaned excavation discovery. The sides have two minor cracks and a part missing. Included are two original tinned sheet metal repairs, that came apart with age in the ground.
