The above view represents it as it was THE MARSH HOUSE, CHESTERFIELD, N. H. This is the old homestead of the Marsh family, and was prob-ably built before 1780. THE JACKSON HOUSE. PORTSMOUTH, N. H. This is on the Christian Shore side, and is claimed to be theoldest house in Portsmouth. It was built by Richard Jackson, 1661to 1670, and is still ovraed by his descendants.
