Oatlands Girl', a four metre high sculpture in the Gorbals/ Oattlands area of Glasgow. It was unveiled by the First Minister of Scotland in 2016. As part of the process, children from St Francis’, Blackfriars and Hampden primary schools were encouraged to investigate their own artistic potential. Armed with their feedback and creativity, the sculpture represents the youth of Oatlands looking to the future, whilst recognising the role the past played in the region’s story.
