Painting 'Market Square in Pirna' by Italian landscape painter Bernardo Bellotto also known as Canaletto (1753-1754). The Town Hall is depicted in the middle of the Market Square. In the foreground, adjoining the town hall is the weight house. On the right are the Electoral district offices and also water troughs supplied with spring water through wooden pipes. Behind the market square rises the tower of St Mary's Church, while on the plateau is seen the Sonnenstein Castle.
