Mr. Edward M. Perales, an employee from the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Hawaii, received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriots Award. ESGR volunteer Bob McKaig presented the award while at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on Feb. 3, 2024. Master Sgt. Faatupu Siimalevai, assigned to the 624th Civil Engineer Squadron, nominated Mr. Peralas for the award. This award recognizes supervisors and bosses by a Guardsman or Reservist employee for support provided directly to the nominator.
