CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait - The 1st Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment (Assault) Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Timothy Cleighton thanks his troops and leadership for a successful nine-month deployment during a transfer of authority ceremony Aug. 28 at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The ceremony signified the completion of the mission for the unit and a new mission for the incoming unit, the 1st Battalion, 108th Aviation Regiment (Assault).
