General Major Kite (Heinrich Johannes Wilhelmus, call name "Heinz") Manderfeld, born in Bergen (NH) on 29 June 1940. Deputy Chef of the Air Force Staff (PCLS) until 1 November 1991. On this date, the function of PCLS disappeared from the Air Force Organization and from that Momerfeld was the first to fulfill the newly created position of deputy commander of the air forces (PBDL). Died on November 10, 2006.
