KABUL, Afghanistan (July 22, 2010) – A worker at the Kabul Melli factory handcrafts combat boots for Afghan forces. Navy Rear Adm. Kathleen Dussault, commander of Task Force 2010, presented the factory with a quality assurance certificate that will allow it to formally supply boots to Afghan National Security Forces. Located in the Afghan capital of Kabul, the Afghan-owned factory can produce about 2,400 boots a day.
