It must be carried outlightly, quickly, elegantly, and elastically. Hacking and Sawing. These are done only with the side of the hand, where thelittle finger is. (Fig. 27; see next page.) They are morepowerful manipulations than knocking or slapping, and areonly employed where thick muscle groups are seated, as inthe arms, legs, seat of abdomen, neck, and back. They mustnot be used for highly nervous or sensitive people. Pressing, Piishing, and Vibrating.
