The arrival of KNIL civilian families from inland at the station Kali Bata Description: Batavia: After the transport through the Republic had been postponed several times, arrived Wednesday evening, April 28, 1948, at the station Kalibata, the first group of families and relatives of KNIL soldiers from Republican territory, totaling 305 souls. They come from camps in Solo and Djocja. Immediately after arrival they are taken to the Tandjong Camp on the Buitenzorgseweg.
