YOKOSUKA, Japan ( Dec. 16, 2017) Steelworker 3rd Class Daniel Whiting assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, uses the HILTI rotary hammer to drill holes into the pier to set rebar for the Pre-Engineered Building’s (PEB) column pedestals. NMCB 4 is forward deployed to the pacific, ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations, and provide general engineering support to Navy, Marine Corps, and joint operational forces.
