The Fall Festival at Rancho De Las Golondrinas which celebrates Spansh Colonial culture and lifestyle is a very colorful event which is held on the first weekend of October. Volunteers demonstarate many different aspects of life inthe early days of Spanish occupation in New Mexico. Young visitors learn how sorghum molasses and syrup is exctacted from the sorghum grain with donkey powered mill.
