Future Airmen that are currently in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) high-five Pit Boss, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s mascot, at the introduction of the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nev., March 3, 2019. DEP allows civilians to complete their application to the Air Force and reserve their Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) before a ship out date to Basic Military Training (BMT) is assigned.
