Over 10,000 runners race around Central Park in New York on Saturday, April 7, 2012 for the 10K Scotland Run, the beginning of Tartan Week. The holiday celebrates Americans of Scottish descent and many of the runners wore tartan kilts, face paint in the national colors of Scotland, blue and white, or just decorated themselves with themed costumes.
