To the right of the cross two Pharisees in conversation and behind them a third figure. More in the foreground a half on the back -seen soldier with cash, a second with angular shield, a morning star and a dagger by his side. A soldier, which is visible to the right, holds one foot against the relief. On top of the cross the titulus. The background with a tree on the left is formed from tendrils with flowers with all over a moon darkened by a cloud. Christ and the holy women have auroles.
