Crowd pleasing particpant having fun in the 29th Doo Dah Parade 2005 pushes his bubble machine close to the viewers, wiggling hand on his head and lightbulbs that light when inserted in his mouth The Pasadena Doo Dah Parade is held each year on a Sunday before Thanksgiving. The Doo Dah Parade pokes fun and spoofs the Rose Parade by having campy alternative, weird and humorous participants. There were over 100 groups and about 1,500 participants to entertain the viewers on the parade route for the 29th parade in 2005. A popular event that attracts nearly 50,000 fans. Rated by the Reader’s Digest as the Best Parade in 2004.
