Spad 11A2, equipped with a Hispano engine with 235 horsepower, was used for observation work by the Corps d'Armee during World War One. It had a maximum speed of 112 miles per hour at 6500 feet and could climb to 16500 feet in 32 minutes. The plane had one stationary gun and two flexible guns. It was operated by a pilot and an observer and was equipped with a radio and camera. This photo, taken in 1919, has the identification number 20305 and was captured by photographer RECO.
