Both the form andmarking of the flowers are very irregular and grotesque. 50 cts. HIBISCUS SCHIZOPETALUS. A very peculiar andstriking species. It dif-fers from all others inthe remarkable charac-ter of its petals, the pen-dulous flowers and the longtubular calyx. Its droop-ing flowers, with reflectedorange-red and laciniatedpetals, render this plant notonly a curiosity but highlyvaluable as a decorative orbedding plant. 50 cts. improvement.
