From therethey proceeded westward to Wisconsin,via rail to Buffalo, thence steamer toGreen Bay, which they found to be athriving village and important tradingpoint. The family settled in Lawrencetownship. Brown county, on a smallfarm, which they commenced to clear, byhard work and untiring perseverance to.
