AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Cadet 1 Class Arthur Shune, left, and Cadet 2 Class Timothy Lloyd, right, collect data using a Raspberry Pi computer connected to a hybrid rocket engine, Tuesday, November 27, 2018. The Academy's Astronautics department, in conjunction with analyst from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab, validate data on the regression rate of a liquid oxidizer and solid fuel engine. The objective of the research is to advance rocket technology for future interplanetary CubeSat missions.
