Catalina Mountain Lightning 1

Returning down from Mount Lemmon along the Catalina Highway, a monsoon storm first threatened, then delivered lightning. I was lucky to evade much of the rain that followed but felt refreshed. The highway offers frequent opportunities to stop and appreciate grand views, but it seems like they are forever just a few hundred meters away from where I could best set up my tripod. I was, in this lucky happenstance, able to set up in a spot favorable to the moon rising below cloud level.
