A German Order with Oak Leaves and Swords, Steinhauer & Lück production Neck Cross 2nd Class, fire gilt, with polished edges, enamelled on both sides, separately applied medallion. With a 20 cm section of ribbon. Only one award of this grade was ever made, to Reichsarbeitsführer Konstantin Hierl on 24 February 1945. Cf. Nimmergut, Deutsche Orden und Ehrenzeichen, p. 1921. A contemporary production of this award by Steinhauer & Lück is not certain. It could be either a trial piece, or possibly a postwar production, like the Knight's Crosses by this manufacturer.,
