Egnew-Avery Hotel, Mount Clemens, Mich., between 1880 and 1899. The Avery House and Hotel Egnew were connected with Mount Clemens' first bath house, called the Original, constructed in 1873. Its mineral springs led to Mount Clemens becoming known as the 'Bath City of America'.
