About $200 was taken. The robbers used some heavy seed sacks to deaden the sound of the explosion when they blew open the combination. Hotel Statler will be the headquar- ters and meeting place of the convention of the American Seed Trade Association and the Wholesale Grass Seed Dealers' Association at St. Louis, June 22 to 24. The north banquet hall wUl be provided for exhibits, at a rental of $30. The Chicago fire department was called out in a hurry April 15.
