GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 29, 2015) Marine Cpl. Jordan Gomez prepares to fire an M240 medium machine gun from an MV-22B Osprey. Gomez is a crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The Marines practiced firing at targets in the water to stay familiar with the weapon system and enhance their marksmanship. The 15th MEU, embarked on the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to maintain regional security in the 5th Fleet area of operations. ( Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
