Hundreds of graduate and undergraduate student workers at Harvard University picketed outside of Harvard University Memorial Hall and the university Science Center in Cambridge on Friday, the final day of a three-day strike called by the Harvard Graduate Student Union-United Auto Workers (UGSU-UAW) to demand adequate pay, better process for discrimination cases and making Harvard a “union shop” which would automatically afford union membership to graduate student workers and union protections.
