The massive luminous star Eta Carina. The star 100x the mass and 5,000,000 times the luminosity of the sun. The two lobes are known as the Homunculus Nebula and consist of mass ejected in an outburst in the 1840s. The star will eventually collapse as a massive Type IIa supernova. .
