Silica The analyses show the high quality of the Millvilledolomites with their exceptionally low silica appear to be two main belts of dolomite, one to the eastof Millville which includes the quarries of the Standard Limeand Stone Company, and the Harpers Ferry Lime Company, across the river; and one to the west of Millville, at the Blairquarry, which can not be traced very far to the north or south. The east belt extends south to the Harpers Ferry Limequarry and north to the Potomac River. Two and a fourthmiles north of the Standard quarries at Millville, the dolomitebelt is 300 to 325 feet wide. Samples were taken at this placeand showed the same low silica dolomite. The third samplewas taken near the edge of the belt where silica increases inamount. Analyses of Dolomite near Dupuy Mill on the Potomac.
