Head Army Nurses receiving gas instructions at Camp Kearney, California, under the command of Major Arthur Yale. The nurses are adjusting their gas masks. Captain Lillie of the British Mission, who is also a gas instructor at the camp, enjoyed the scene and tossed smoke bombs to test their readiness. This was the first successful lesson for the nurses. Censored and released on April 18, 1913, by the War College Division.
