Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. 3rd October, 2015. A Moped Rider is this evening recovering in Hospital after colliding with a Silver Audi A3 in Portsmouth. Police closed of Kingston Road and Powers Court Road early Saturday evening after the collision. Traffic was directed whilst Emergency services dealt with the incident. Portsmouth, Hampshire Saturday 3rd October 2015 A Moped Rider is this evening recovering in Hospital after colliding with a Silver Audi A3 in Portsmouth. Police closed of Kingston Road and Powers Court Road early Saturday evening after the collision. Traffic was directed whilst Emergency services dealt with the incident. A First bus was also caught up in the collision after the driver witnessed the moped colliding with the sports car. A shop assistant who at the time was working at the new Kiwi mart on the junction of Kingston Road explained that a taxi had stopped to let a group of pedestrian cross the The Audi had also stopped but the Modped rider attempted to go around and collied with the car. Paramedics treated the male at the scene. He was later taken by ambulance to the Queen Alexandra in Cosham. His injuries aren’t thought to be serious. ©UKNIP / Alamy Live News
