Elderberry trees (Sambucus Nigra) are European and not native to Australia, but their blossoms and scent are very welcome in our gardens.


There are 2 species of Elderberry grown in Australia - Euorpean and American (Nigra and Canadensis) but the American one is a shrub and this European variety is a decent size tree.
