The car illustrated is powerfullyconstructed and has heavy sub-sills and the posts which sup-port the roof are composed of angle-irons which are bent toconform to the shape of the roof. This post arrangementgives ample strength for the support of the two cranes, whichare to be used for loading heavy pieces of material, such aswheels, axles, rails, etc., on the car or on a car alongside. -+++- SHALLOW SUBWAY OPENED INLONDON.
