Air Force 2nd Lt. Alexander Bowers, a newly commissioned medical officer with the 118th Medical Group, Tennessee Air National Guard, takes the oath of office from Maj. Ashley Lee, a clinical nurse with the 118th MDG, Feb. 10, 2019 at Berry Field Air National Guard Base, Nashville, Tennessee. Bowers earned his commission and a full-scholarship to attend medical school through the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program.
