The heads are grown upon a remarkably short stem, are solid and large in size, weighing 10 to 12 pounds, with light green leaves and of good quality. It is the largest of the early round-headed varieties, and its habit of growth allows of its being planted close to- gether in the field or garden, thereby producing a larger number of heads to a given area, a feature which is very important in growing this vegetable. Pkt., 10 cts.; oz., 60 cts.; J lb., | DANISH ROUNDHEAD CABBAGE This variety matures earlier than the Danish Ball Head. The heads are round, have a short stalk, and are very hard. The interior leaves are pure white and of sweet flavor. It is a healthy growing variety, and able to stand considerable hot weather and resist disease. The heads, although making quickergrowth, are fully as large as *'Ball Head' and equally as good in every way, keeping well during the winter, and are of excellent quality. It is well adapted for growing in the garden and produces Cabbage for both fall and winter use. The seed we furnish was grown in Den- mark, Pkt, 10 cts.; oz., 60 cts.; J lb., | Sum. SMAEI. EXTRA EAREY JERSEY IVAKEFIEED CABBAGE This variety of Jersey Wakefield Cabbage matures earlier than the ordinary strain, and produces a firm, solid head; smaller, but of same conical shape as the original type. It is very hardy, and while the heads are small, the quality is fully equal to the well-known ' Jersey Wakefield.' We consider this the best variety of extra early Cabbage for the home garden.
