Solar Power Farm.
A solar power generating farm. The photovoltaic cells in the solar panels convert the sun's radiated energy into direct current power. It is then fed into a battery bank to store the energy that is not used right away. During sunny days the energy is stored until the battery bank is full. At the same time, some of this dc power goes through a dc to ac inverter where it is converted into ac power that feeds industry and residential areas. At night, the sun can no longer feed the bank. So the bank gives up the energy it has stored during the day. This will continue until the process continues the next day. For cloudy days, the electric power company must use non-renewable energy sources to keep the grid going.
