Hydrobiology and pollution research. Scientist in a boat monitoring a water reservoir as part of his hydrobiology research. Here, he is sampling fish in order to analyse the mercury concentrations in their bodies. The nearby gold mine uses mercury to amalgamate the gold and this mercury is polluting the surrounding areas.
