Jaywick is a small seaside town near Clacton-on-Sea, in Essex on the North Sea coast of England. It was originally intended as a holiday resort for Londoners. Many of the houses were poorly constructed and little more than shacks, intended only for short-term holiday use. However, as time passed, more and more people moved into the area and stayed.
