Marines with Combat Assault Company (CAC), 3d Marine Regiment, clear vegetation with an Amphibious Assault Vehicle from the Nu’Upia Ponds Wildlife Management Area during the 36th annual ‘Mud Ops’, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Jan. 27, 2021. The MCBH Environmental Compliance and Protection Department partnered with CAC, parent command, to utilize their Amphibious Assault Vehicle’s in an effort to fight back against invasive plants and prepare plots of wetlands for local waterfowl.
