Bolivian indigenous women playing football in Altiplano, at 4100 meters altitude
Cholitas (indigenous Bolivian women who wear the traditional dress) are playing football in the village of Huarina, close to Lake Titicaca, at 4100 meter altitude. Every Sunday in the villages of Altiplano cholitas are playing football for fun or even organize local championships. Cholitas have a important role in Bolivian society, they can be often seen performing men activities such mining or taking part in lucha libres (wrestling)
