Hawaii's Air National Guards Air 204th Airlift Squadron, assisted the Kona International Airport and the Hawaii County Fire Department in the Federal Administration's Triennial Disaster Exercise, By providing a large frame aircraft for the simulation of a crash site. Students from a local high school provided bodies for the exercise, made up to simulate injuries from minor abrasions to life threatening. The Kona Airport Fire Department, were first responders, while the Hawaii County Fire department filled in as additional manpower and triage support.
